Your aura is personal. So is your data. This page explains what we collect when you visit our website, send us an enquiry or have your aura photographed. It also covers how we keep it safe and the choices you have.

Who we are
Aura Babes is an aura photography experience for events, run by Agne Aurelia and based in London. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Aura Babes is the data controller for the personal information described on this page.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry
Your name, email address, the type of event, the date, the city and anything else you choose to tell us in your message (such as guest numbers or the venue).
When you have your aura photographed
Your portrait and the aura image created from it. If you would like a digital copy, we will also need your email address or phone number to send it to you. The hand sensors only read your hands in the moment to create the colours. We do not store these readings.
When you book an astrology or tarot reading
Your name, email address and the details needed for your reading. For astrology this includes your date, time and place of birth. Bookings are taken through our online scheduling service, which also handles payment. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and plan your event
Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, then performing that contract.
To take your aura photo and send you a digital copy
Lawful basis: performing the service you have asked for.
To share aura photos on our website and social media
Lawful basis: your consent. We will always ask first. You can change your mind at any time.
To keep business and accounting records
Lawful basis: legal obligation.
To keep our website secure and working well
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.
We will never sell your personal information. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Photos at events
Everyone who steps up to the camera chooses to have their photo taken. Your printed aura photo is yours to keep. Before we post any aura photo on our website or social media, we will ask for your permission. If you have already said yes and change your mind, email us and we will remove it.
When we work at a corporate event or brand activation, the client may also receive copies of the aura photos taken on the day. In that case the event host will usually let guests know how the photos will be used. Branded prints may carry the client’s logo.
We only photograph children under 16 with the agreement of a parent or guardian who is present. We do not share photos of children online.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted services that help us run the business. These include:
- our website host and email provider
- our online booking and payment service for readings
- our accountant, for business records
- the event client, for photos taken at their event
Some of these services may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms. We may also share information if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become bookings: up to 12 months.
- Booking and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
- Digital copies of aura photos: up to 3 months after your event, so we can resend them if needed.
- Photos you have agreed we can share: until you ask us to remove them.
- Birth details for readings: deleted within 12 months of your last reading.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use essential cookies that keep our website working and secure. If we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site, we will only set them once you agree through our cookie banner. You can change your choice or clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Our pages may link to Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Keeping it safe
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. Our devices and accounts are password protected. Only the people who need your information to deliver your event or reading can see it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
